Kye Kye KuleThis is a singing game from West Africa. Some people say it's from Ghana while others say Mali. The important part is that this is a game which students can lead. The group forms a circle. The leader stands in the middle. First response touches the head (with the beat). The next one taps the shoulders (with the beat); the next one taps the waist (with the beat); the next one taps the feet (with the beat); the final one starts at the feet and ends at the shoulders. Students can be encouraged to come up with their own patterns to lead. This allows the students to vary the game after they have memorized the basic movements.
